Thirdlane Communications Manager

Thirdlane Communcations Manager is an extremely customizable, cost-effective, professional-grade web GUI for managing Asterisk-based PBXs. It includes both management and end-user web GUIs, and is provided included with all of Thirdlane's PBX product distributions.

There are three Thirdlane Communications Manager versions, each available as complete turnkey PBX distributions (including Asterisk and Linux):

• Thirdlane Multi-Tenant PBX

• Thirdlane Business PBX

• Thirdlane Call Center

The Thirdlane Communications Manager is ideally suited for VARs and system integrators, as it allows deep PBX customization while keeping day-to-day PBX management very easy and intuitive. A unique Thirdlane feature is the ability to customize or extend the script library (dial plan components) shipped with Thirdlane Communications Manager to enhance or add features and functionality in a friendly, web-based GUI environment.


All versions of the Thirdlane Communications Manager include the following features:

• DIDs - multi-tenant version only - management and assignments of DIDs
• Auto-Provisioning with Templates - simplifies provisioning of phones and ATAs (including Aastra, Cisco, Linksys, Polycom, Snom and Yealink)
• Bulk Generator - bulk creation of users, extensions, phones, and mailboxes
• Database-driven option - supports Asterisk real-time using a MySQL database to safely and efficiently store configuration data
• User Extensions - management of users, extensions, mailboxes, and permissions
• Mailboxes - configuration of special mailboxes
• Voice Prompts - voice prompt recording and importing
• IVR/Voice Menus - configuration of Auto Attendant and multi-level voice menus
• Queues - management of call queues
• Feature Codes - dial plan management and assignment of scripts to special extensions
• Trunks - management of DAHDI/SIP/IAX and custom trunks
• Inbound Routes - management of inbound calls
• Outbound Routes - management of outbound dialing
• Schedules - schedule management * Configuration Editor - direct access to Asterisk configuration files
• Command Shell - web interface to Asterisk Management Interface
• Script Library - creation of scripts for call handling
